Our Mission
Celebrating the Joy of Reading Together
Raising Young Readers was born out of weekly trips to our local library with my toddler. We review picture books through two lenses: how a real toddler responds, and whether the book has lasting literary value. The goal is simple: help you find timeless stories worth a place on your family’s shelf.
What You’ll Find in Every Review
Honest Reactions
What our toddler actually thought, plus a parent’s verdict: Is it good? Is it true? Is it beautiful?
Crafts & Activities
A hands-on craft and activity for each book, so the story keeps going after the last page.
Where to Find It
A library link first, then places to buy the book or audiobook, and cozy companion gift ideas.
